Amy Davies Earns Award at York College of PA Student Recognition Ceremony

Amy Davies of Forest Hill, a senior Recreation and Leisure Administration at York College of Pennsylvania, recently earned an award during the College's annual Student Recognition Ceremony. Davies earned the Sylvia C. Newcombe Award, for outstanding contributions to the recreation program at York College through class or student society involvement.

Located in southcentral Pennsylvania, York College offers more than 50 baccalaureate majors in professional programs, the sciences and humanities to its 4,600 undergraduate students. The College also offers master's programs in business, education and nursing. A center of affordable academic excellence, York is dedicated to the intellectual, professional and social growth of its students.
